Ansion beta 1 is up on Elysium (callvote siege_ansion_beta1)! This is my first take on a siege map, so I expect things will not be 100% perfect, and that map will undergo lots of changes. Also all textures are placeholders.

Beta 2 is up on server.

Changelog:
  • Map size decreased by 25 percent.
  • 2nd area: removed the destructible computer objective.
  • 2nd area: moved hack to where the computer was; former hack area is no longer accessible.
  • 2nd area: moved shield and ammo unit from d spawn to station 1, they are only accessible by defense.
  • 3rd area: swapped Onasi and Alpha.
  • 3rd area: alphas hack now has a 2 second usetime.
  • 3rd area: it is no longer possible to snipe the npc from the emplaced gun area.
  • 3rd area: moved shield and ammo unit to the right side
  • 4th area: reworked the trains, and moved the entrance closer to offense spawn.
  • D Assault now spawns with 0 shields (down from 50).
  • O Demo now spawns with 25 shields (down from 50).

Beta 3 is up on the server.

Changelog:
  • Added additional radar icons.
  • Added proper defense objective descriptions.
  • 1st area slightly reworked, to provide better cover for defense.
  • 1st area: forcefield hack has been moved to the right side.
  • 1st area: door hack has been merged with the forcefield hack.
  • 2nd area: slightly reduced the size of this area.
  • 2nd area: reworked the hack, it now requires 2 hacks to be done (2x5s hack, up from 9s).
  • 2nd area: added an additional ladder leading to the bottom area.
  • 2nd area: back entrance hack now requires 7 seconds, down from 9.
  • 2nd area: the bottom area has been slightly reworked.
  • 2nd area: added signs.
  • 3rd area: Onasi and Alpha has more health.
  • 3rd area: a new area has been added, that the npcs may be attacked from.
  • 3rd area: a protective forcefield has been added in front of d hack.
  • 4th area: removed the trains.
  • 4th area: swapped the forcefield and the control panel in the upper area.
  • 4th area: upon completion, a teleport will be enabled in d spawn, leading to next obj.
  • 5th area: anti rush shields have been added (5s).
  • Fixed a typo and now o tech has a sentry gun.

Ansion beta 4 is up on the server.

Changelog:
  • 1st area: offense now spawns on the left.
  • 1st area: reworked parts of this area, mainly left side.
  • 2nd area: increased the size of this area, and reworked most of the parts.
  • 2nd area: a new room has been added, it contains the hack to the emergency door, formerly backdoor.
  • 2nd area: added colour indications to the different routes.
  • 2nd area: the main hacks usetime has been increased to 12s (2x6).
  • 2nd area: additional cover has been added to the main route.
  • 3rd area: increased the size of the defense area.
  • 3rd area: reworked the control centre.
  • 3rd area: added protective walls, so it is now longer possible to demp the entire cc from o spawn.
  • 3rd area: decreased Alphas health by 1 and increased Onasis health by 1 to better reflect reality.

Ansion beta 5 is up on server.

Changelog:
  • 1st area: added a missing texture.
  • 1st area: defence now spawns on the right side.
  • 1st area: defence spawns further back to compensate its new position.
  • 1st area: the alternate outside route is now on the left side.
  • 1st area: increased the final hack time to 4s, up from 3s.
  • 1st area: added anti rush teleports.
  • 2nd area: decreased the backdoor hack time to 5s, down from 7.5s.
  • 2nd area: removed the front door leading to the backdoor hack.
  • 2nd area: decreased the hack time on the double panel to 10s (2x5), down from 12s.
  • 2nd area: defence spawns moved further away from the area.

Ansion beta 6 is up on server.

Changelog:
  • 1st area: o starting area slightly enlargened.
  • 2nd area: station 1 and 2 slightly adjusted.
  • 3rd area: added a panel to control centre to start refueling procedures.
  • 4th area: o spawns further back.
  • 4th area: the alternate hack to open the blast door has been removed.
  • 4th area: the destructible pipe can no longer be shot from outside.
  • 4th area: blast door hack reduced from 8s to 5s.
  • 4th area: forcefield hack increased to 5s (formerly 4.5s).
  • 5th area: o and d spawns further away from each other.
  • O&D Demo now has E11.
  • O Scout model changed to imperial worker.
