I am well aware of what you meant by infinite and zero, it was an obvious assumption you were talking about calculating the limit of a function. Infinite just simply means a number without limits there. So I just took this out of context, and said that if I multipled that with exactly 0, then the result would be 0. Pretty simple concept right? You take 0 of something, no matter what, and at the end of the day you will have 0 of that.

Now of course when calculating a limit, 0 does not really mean 0. 1/infinite will be marked as 0, for the sake of workability.

TL;DR: This joke really went over your head.

IIRC, Alpha inquired about the result of a grab versus onasi match because both players suck. I made the joke that the match would be like multiplying 0 times infinity. You then claimed 0 times infinity is 0. :S Also, infinity isn't a number (not real/natural) so it isn't "a number without limits."
