No flame but every time I've played stations obj with you on my team, you get really out of position. Sith whores D HW all the time on stations and he doesn't have issues with positioning. If you struggle with positioning, HW is honestly probably the worst class you could play, because it's harder to correct your positioning due to the slower speed.

For example, if I'm already defending in 1 at the high ground, you might respawn and come defend 1 with me, leaving 2 unguarded. Then I have two options:
  1. Say "??? go 2 wtf u doing i'm already in 1" in teamchat
    • Might make you ragequit.
    • You're a slow HW; it's almost too late already by the time I have to say this anyway. It'll take you a long time to go back to 2 and get set up (high ground).
  2. Just go to 2 myself.
    • I have to give up my entire setup that I already have going in 1 (high ground, detpacks)
    • I won't really have time to get fully set up in 2 (high ground, detpacks) by the time the attackers come.
    • You won't really have time to get fully set up in 1 (high ground) by the time the attackers come. In fact, they might get the top hack because of how long it would take you to get up.
We also might get into situations where I die, and then you come to my station instead of staying in yours. Because you're slow and take a while to get there, this means that the guy in my station has plenty of time to hit it before you arrive, and you're just giving up the station that you're already in anyway. Result: we just lost 2 stations instead of only 1.

Cargo rewards good positioning and teamwork, you just need a better sense of where the enemies might be and where the optimal place you should be defending is.

Urban: deadly trash WTF is that shit, heal stations are unnecesary, O HW is garbage, D jedi is garbage, D scout is garbage

Heal stations punish the defense for just camping far back on top of the obj. For example, on the bike obj, I could just sit aaaaaaaaaaall the way back on D jan just sniping jedis with demp like a bitch. How fun would that be? The heal station allows offense to control the flow of the battle more by forcing defenders to play farther up if they want to secure frags. Another benefit of having healing stations on a larger, more open map is that they open up more routes/strategies/playmaking possibilities by allowing you survive longer than 20 seconds and traverse more of the map.

Let's say I'm an ojedi @ codes obj and I have 19 hp, many people in this situation would just run back to spawn and SK. But if I can run back to the healing station and heal up, I have an opportunity to make a play by challenging the defense immediately. I might max someone, or they might max me. Or I might force someone to not SK who wanted to SK. Or they might stall me and damage me so that I can't fight effectively next spawn. There are 1,000,000 things that could happen. Without the healing station, there is exactly 1 thing that can happen: I run back to spawn and SK, and the defenders SK. The routes and possibilities opened up on a large map by being able to stay alive longer are a benefit to the map.

Imagine original Desert stations obj, if you didn't have healing stations. You have to SK on offense every time you take damage. That would make every spawn the same: run at a station → SK → run at a station → SK → run at a station → SK. Instead with the healing stations, you can back off → heal → attack a different station or something. Large, open maps benefit from healing stations by opening up more routes/possibilities.

OK i can explain:
1. Why these red boxes for trash are killing players? they are at 2nd obj and last obj
2. Why D jedi got 40 HP instead of 50?
3. Why O HW got only 60 HP? rocket boost is not worthy so low HP.
4. Why D scout got just 50 HP (lowest problem from these, it is acceptable comparing to rest)

They are pits. Lots of maps have pits. They are usually themed to match the aesthetic of the map; sometimes they're water, sometimes they're just a giant fall. The ones on this map happen to be dumpsters and a flaming garage to match the urban theme of the map. Also, having them be raised a little higher makes it easier to push/pull people in as jedi, which was the intent. Just think of them as regular pits, like ravine/canyon on Hoth, etc. When I sketched out designs for those objs, I had pits there without any idea what visual form they would take. It makes more sense thematically to have them be dumpsters/flaming garage instead of a random 50m drop in the middle of an urban area.

2. Why D jedi got 40 HP instead of 50?
You know he has heal3, right? He can oneshot half the offense roster (landos/jans/jedis) with saber throw, but can get oneshot by the other half (assaults/HWs/demos). I don't think anyone has really had issues with d jedi balance in the current patch. Perhaps his saber def could be bumped back up to 3 instead of 2, but I don't feel that he's terribly unbalanced right now in any case.

3. Why O HW got only 60 HP? rocket boost is not worthy so low HP.
He used to have 70 HP, and it was slightly OP because he could kill you with rockets faster than you could kill him with dets/blobs even if you were aiming 100% perfectly. The 10HP nerf gives defense a little more ability to fight back. It also makes positioning more important for Desann, e.g. fighting people from extremely close range where they can siege themself becomes more important. It makes it require more skill to use. Sith is still able to play Desann and win pugs. Desann's strength is countering comps that have no mines. If the enemies have no mines, Desann has free reign to rocketjump all around the map and rape dudes. At the stations obj, he is almost unstoppable once he gets inside a station.

I do have some Desann buffs I'm considering, but I would prefer to do something other than simply buff his HP.

4. Why D scout got just 50 HP
Because she already rapes with 50 HP and even has a jetpack. Alpha rapes everybody with this class with 50 HP (I've seen him get 3.6 KPM with it). Giving her more HP would be a terrible idea. We already nerfed her max armor in a recent patch because she had too much survivability.

@ pits, just put flames on them and it will be perfect, it will look more realistic to die by touching them.
@ D jedi, i didn't know about heal 3, so im withdrawing what i wrote earlier
@ D scout, anti alpha is ok but for others this class isn't much playable, but it is fairly ok like it is
@ O HW, i know you won't change it at all, but i just don't like it and it won't change, making sth original doesn't mean it will be good

Design is the thing i like in Urban, not much star wars like, but it is ok for me.

I'm not exactly god's gift to aim but I can make this class work pretty easily on the last, second, and third objectives, it's just about switching off it a lot so you don't get countered in 2s. in 3s you can even stay on it if you're aiming well enough even against teams of Jedi your other teammates become more effective if the Jedi are scared to break saber defence.

Regarding the poll I'm the only one who voted Narshaddaa, besides Lord's obvious point about station doorspam which is annoying it's the best map; if instead of the stations it had like a Cargo power node layout type thing but without the spam chokepoints it'd be almost perfect.

By the looks of it, I think I might be the only one to disagree with this. I actually prefer the clean look of the dumpsters, and I think they work perfectly. And tbh after playing on urban for so long, suddenly having flames coming out of it would feel strange.

For any player who will play here first time, this will be biggest bullshit ever, some dumpsters are killing, some of them are not, im even not certain i know every deadly dumpster atm. Ok lest just jump on it and try, oh no im dead. Imagine every other map with pits looking like regular texture and you cannot recognise where next pit will be.
